Holy crap there is a mutant dog-cat thing with a fireball on its tail in the Nexus! Not to fear though. This isn't some sort of bloodthirsty killer beast that has been kept locked away by some mad scienti- ... er... okay, so he has been kept locked away by a mad scientist before. But he isn't blood thirsty so there is no need to be afraid of him! He doesn't bite often, and only then for a good reason. Standing about three-four feet tall at the shoulder his body is a mixture between canine and feline characteristics. Fiery red in hue with an auburn mohawk of a mane and a feathered headdress he looks like some sort of tribal animal. Those familiar with him will know that he is one of the few surviving members of a race that once dwelled within Cosmo Canyon and know that he goes by the names of Red XIII or Nanaki.
Waving his flame-tipped tail to and fro slowly he studies the glaringly bright Sign with his remaining eye, the beads in his hair and the headdress jingling with the slight tilting of his head. Snorting in amusement he pads past the inanimate welcome, seeking out a spot where he could be comfortable. Upon finding one he sits and contemplates the required question he needs to ask.
"How does one best adjust to newly found freedom?" He finally asks, then pauses and gives voice to another question that has been bouncing about his skull recently. "Long distance friendships: how do you maintain them?"
