::looks around:: Oh. I'm here.

Well, 'at home,' I'm standing in the 'Jewel of Europa,' specifically the Great Hospital there, hearing Dr. Sun explain how my father got in to be treated after, apparently, being nearly killed by one of the most passionately caring people I've ever known.
Even after all the best care, it's still touch-and-go. So fragile. I should be handling this better; I've just spent a few months with patients who needed constant stabilizing, but... I've never even seen my father in a disadvantageous political position. It was only recently that I'd ever seen him make a mistake.

And so: what are your thoughts on dealing with the mortality of people you've never, deep down, thought of as having it?

And, if worse comes to worse, what are your thoughts on how to dismantle an empire one doesn't want without returning to continental civil war?
