Fay is in the Nexus.
This Fay, however, is also... different. Wearing black clothing, hair slightly too long and pulled back in a small ponytail, an eyepatch over his left eye--and, more chillingly, no smile.
"I'm looking for my companions," he says. "A pretty girl, with brown hair and green eyes; a boy of about the same age with brown hair and," only the slightest of pauses, "brown eyes; a small creature that looks something like a manjuu bun; and a dark, red-eyed ninja."
He looks around, considering a moment before adding, "If you haven't seen them, could someone direct me to a place to stay?" Fay does smile then, a tired little thing. "I'm afraid I don't have anywhere to go."
