Author Notes: It is very seldom I really go into write something like this… though in my waiting to find out if some of my stories could be salvaged from my crashed laptop I decided to write a few short things.
Disclaimer: All I can claim as mine is the way I’ve written the story (the idea I had) and the people that aren't well-known (stars, actors, actresses or characters). I have written it for my own amusement and fun. For me, it is one way to exercise my English and see if I'm good at all to get things and ideas together. This isn't done to try to make any money off it.

Summary: Wishes of the past can be strong and old things stand as they have always stood.

It was some time ago they had met. It seemed like it been an eternity. It looked like a coincidence they had turned up at the same pub. It could have been like before…

When they found each other, both had been there a few hours and tried to drown their sorrow in liquor. They had started to talk as if it had been yesterday, drinking more, dancing some.

In the wee hours they had had enough and finally decided to go home. As they lived in the same house they shared a cab. Heather almost fell asleep during the ride, Orlando having to support her when they paid the cab fare and walked up the stairs.

Outside Heather’s door, she tried to get her keys out, not noticing that her right shoe was caught in the rug and she would have fallen if Orlando hadn’t caught her. Catching her keys, he opened her door and picked her up, not bothering to turn on a lamp, since she had left a small one lit in her hall.

The lamp in the hall dimly illuminated part of her bedroom. When Orlando lay her back on the bed, she at first could only see his face in the shadow, then his tanned shoulders and chest when he took off his shirt, pushing off his shoes and the rest of his clothes. Then he was with her. Wonderful. A heat she hadn’t felt in ages filled her. Heather wanted to stretch her arms after him, to touch him, and forget all the talk she had taken in to deny herself. She tried to draw him to her, but he pushed her from him and withdrew. His voice was particularly hoarse when he said, “Never to hundred percent, you understand.”

“What?”

“I could never push you from me to hundred percent.”

“It has no significance. Not now… this isn’t anything serious,” she whispered, a slight desperation edging her voice. “Only sex between neighbors.”

“It most certainly does hold importance,” Orlando persisted. “It does. You have always been with me. When I was together with Kate or whoever, you were constantly there, always. She knows it. She never believed that I loved her when I tried to support her. God help me, the whole relationship probably was a mistake, but you know that if I could’ve turned back time, I would have tried to fix it with Kate anyway.”

“Good!” Heather rushed out. “And be quiet, please, be quiet, just…” She wound her arms around his neck and pulled him to her again. She found his mouth with hers, kissing him, caressing his lips with her tongue, pushing her whole body against him, loving how his muscles tensed.

She wriggled to get closer, touching his face at the same time she kissed him fervently, her kiss full of passion, she allowing her fingers to slide down over his shoulders, along his back down to his bum. She pulled her hands in between them, draw her index finger in a line along the middle of his body, stroking hand over hand the hard plane of his belly. She moved lower and lower until her fingers brushed his sex, taking hold of it… caressing, urging.

Heather heard the pounding in his chest, his moans increasing in volume and then the control wasn’t hers anymore, he pushing her hand away to place his whole length and weight between her legs. She mumbled something inaudible against his shoulder, grasping when she found him suddenly inside her. Slowly, he moved excruciatingly slow. Her fingers dug into his back, her body taut as a bowstring, pushing up against his body.

Orlando slowly withdrew… to push back inside deeper, deeper… oh my God… deeper still. She took hold of his shoulders, tossing her head back and forth…

She felt his gaze. She knew that he watched her. She didn’t bring herself to meet his eyes. She whispered something, bade him do something. And she… was rewarded. He held her hard against him, his hands sliding down her back, squeezing her bum as he yanked her hard against his body, moving upon her with a gigantic force.

The orgasm was as powerful as the man, causing her to shout with the sudden thrill of pleasure that caused a convulsion of sorts, continuing with small shudders of satisfaction through her body.

She felt Orlando reach his orgasm inside her. An explosion of warmth engulfed her. Seconds went by as satisfaction’s shadow swept over both of them.

The dark fell again; night, dark and the in-between. All too fast. Heather had let it happen all too fast. She had wanted him. Just like before.
