Authors note:The story take place year 2009. This is also a contribution to xander anyothergirl415 and her story 'The Never book', a story I like very much and wished I had the original idea for. So it is from her I got the basic idea to write this story. Though it is long from the same.
Summary: After Elijah assured Orlando that he really loved him and wanted to take part in what was to come, he fixed up a house so they could stay away from any prying eyes, meanwhile, Orlando carried their child. This is the story of the last weeks until the birth.
Prologue
They had been living in the house for the past eight weeks. For Orlando, it was both depressing and perfect. If Elijah hadn’t known the woman who owned the house, and had such luck that they could rent it for a few months, they would probably have been tracked down a long time ago.
It was perfect, as it was located in a very secluded area and not that easy to find. That was what they needed now, more than ever. To that end, they hadn’t told many people where they were hiding. If they had wanted to hide their relationship earlier, it was far more important now to be away from places where they could be spotted. Elijah had it easier and was the one that showed himself more. For Orlando, every week that passed made it more impossible as his belly continued to grow, and there weren’t any clothes that could hide it, unless he wanted to wear woman’s maternity clothes.
To be there was a strain on his temperament and it made him frustrated and restless, as he couldn’t do the things he was used to. As his frustration grew, it was not long before Orlando started to take it out on Elijah. The younger man came home one day with a notebook, which he gave to his companion.
“What should I do with this?” Orlando asked as he turned and opened the book.
“Write down your frustrations, thoughts, wishes, or whatever you think about. Just get it out of your system, so I don’t need to be your ‘bag’. I can’t take much more of your whining.”
