Found here. Summary: After a curse Dean is constantly craving hamburgers, adding pounds to his body. He went to visit Sam and to make his brother see him clearly.
Sam moved, worried in his bed. He was not sure what had woken him up. He had one of his dreams where he had been out on a hunt with Dean. Two things didn't fit well with him; as he would never want to hunt again and Dean appeared to be a big guy - larger than he would have guessed his brother would be pleased to be. The dream had come back several times which was strange.
As he lied in the bed, listening to the night he heard a sound that he shouldn't have at that time.
When Sam was in bed and his housemates were out on a trip there should not have been anyone walking around down stairs. He got up and quickly put on a pair of sweatpants. He started his way down stairs, careful to not step on the creaking floorboards. Sam stopped at the bottom of the stairwell, looked into their living room, seeing that he was not alone.
The intruder walked around looking at things and photos. Sam thought there was something familiar with the intruder, but he didn't trust it could be his brother. The intruder had a quite big behind and at the glimpses he got of the side and front of the person he had several pounds more than Dean did.
Curious to see what the intruder would do, Sam stood silent, watching and hoping they would not be robbed. When the intruder went back towards the kitchen, Sam followed. The person went to the refrigerator and took out a beer and the bowl of leftovers. Sam waited until the intruder had put the items on the bench and then made his move to catch him.
The intruder didn't seem to be that much out of shape and Sam was easily thrown off. Though Sam could do his tricks and soon he had the guy on the floor. Finally he got a good look at the intruder. It was Dean.
"What the hell are you doing here? What happened to you?" Sam asked.
"Ugh, get off of me." Dean tried to push Sam away. "What kind of welcome is this?" he continued as soon as he was able to take a deep breath again.
Sam rose and went to switch on the light. Turning it on he saw Dean rise too. His brother went back towards the refrigerator. Sam took a few steps into the kitchen, put his arms across chest.
"You might have gotten a better welcome if you had come during the day and not at night like a thief. Why are you here?" Sam asked.
Dean opened the beer and drank as he turned around to face his brother. "I wanted to come and see you, and I've been driving for a long time so I'm hungry. I decided that I couldn't wait to get anything and hoped you'd have something."
With the light on Sam could see how Dean looked. When he had left for Stanford Dean had probably been close to 200 pounds, but now he looked to be over 250 pounds, a lot of it settled around his waist.
"Take what you want, but fill me in with what you've been doing lately and what happened." Sam said. He would not say anything about Dean's new look.
Dean told him what he had been up to; a few of the hunts and that things had seemed to take a new direction. Then he told Sam that the last weeks had been slow and that he had compensated it by eating more food, like he never could eat enough. Sam didn't believe him. Though the truth went up later that day for Sam - that Dean hadn't lied. Dean had come home with two whopper meals for breakfast. Then at lunch they had been to Burger King again where Dean had eaten two new whoppers and a cheeseburger. At dinner Sam asked Dean about all the food. Dean had just kept saying he was hungry.
If Dean had eaten like this he understood why he looked the way he did. After the next day Sam was sure something else was behind Dean's weight gain. It looked like Dean had gained 8 pounds in just the 36 hours they spent together.
On the third day Dean had went and bought new clothes. Sam could not keep quiet. "Dean, please don't get pissed at me, but what is it with all this eating and gaining? It doesn't look like it's normal."
"Genius. You noted that too." Dean was silent for a long moment and Sam thought he wouldn't get anything other than that smart answer. "A few weeks ago I was going on a successful hunt in Dolan Spring and then stopped somewhere before Vegas. I went in and ate the best hamburger ever, though every hamburger after that has taste awesome. By the way I was in Winchester too."
"Come to the point, please."
Dean let the minutes go before he said anything again.
"Yeah, that little picturesque village must have something to do with what's happening. I seem to gain about 5 pounds or more in a day and I'm fucking hungry all the time. If I don't eat hamburgers I just want to eat even more the next day. I've tried."
"You're telling me that you most likely have been hit by a curse, and you haven't tried to take care of it?"
"It was right now, I come to think of it, where it could have started. Fuck." Dean stood up from were he had been sitting and started to pace back and forth. He stopped in front of Sam. "Will you come and do it with me?"
"Dean, you know that I don't want to hunt. When are you going to accept it?" Sam said as he looked up at his now larger brother.
"I don't think I can do it myself."
"Can't you call dad?"
"Are you insane! What do you think he would say and do? Never. And before you ask there is no one else I would want to ask."
Sam went to the bathroom, he needed some time to think. Since he come to Stanford Dean hadn't come to visit him, not asked once for help on a hunt. He had really missed him. Seeing Dean, how he looked, he had to wonder if he hadn't stalled things just because he wanted to be out of shape. He would need to stop hunting and get some sort of normal life. Sam had to say that even with the added pounds Dean looked good.
He really wanted the best for his brother and if the curse would be so that he would gain as much as he said he was going to he would add 150 pounds in a month and then he probably would be immobile in a few months. It didn't sound good in his head; Sam didn't want to have him go.
When Sam come out Dean had left. Quickly Sam called Dean, but he didn't answer. He tried again and there was only Dean's voice mail, so he left a message for his brother to turn around and pick Sam up.
