All is right again

Talk about a turnaround from this weekend:

1.  I'm mostly over the cold -- have only minor stuffage and lots more energy.

2.  Our A/C is working again!  Turns out the Ripper had pulled a tube loose in the backyard with all his antics, but it was super easy for the landlord to fix.  (And the landlord, one of my roommate's coworkers, was really cool

Yeah, I try to be optimistic but then I remember this man was also responsible for GitF. Eeeek. (Sorry if this triggered memories!)

Ours is working now, too! My sister called and had someone come over and check it out and we just needed freon. :)

And now, after I put up with temperatures of 86 in the house last week, it was relatively easy to leave the temperature set to 75 and still feel cool (sometimes that's hard, but not comparitively!)

I'm glad yours was easy to fix and that is an awesome deal on that suit!

Oh thank goodness! Nobody has AC in Seattle so this is a new and mysterious world to me. Layers are turning out to be important, since some AC is way too cold for whatever I was wearing outside.

You can get caught up on TV shows when time allows -- and maybe you can even work it so you can watch an entire season at once instead of having to go through the torment of being in the middle of a two-parter. (ARGH.)

Budge? A guy named Budge wrote about young Anne? He must have special insight into her willfulness -- otherwise he would have let the publisher change his name!

It's actually a woman named Budge. From her picture she looks pretty old... maybe she grew up with Anne. ;) It says she was born on Nova Scotia, so at least she's got some maritime provinces cred. :P
