Talk about a turnaround from this weekend:

1.  I'm mostly over the cold -- have only minor stuffage and lots more energy.

Mmmm... fresh peaches from Eastern Washington, fruit basket of the state. I picked some up from one of the many road-side fruit stands as I drove home yesterday and am so glad I did: these things are perfect in every way, even in appearance. Oh dear, it's been forever since I updated. Things have been really busy, especially since I've had to spend most of my computer time (well, my time in general) applying for jobs for when I graduate. It's hectic and stressful and sucky.

I'm staying home from work today. I've been having trouble sleeping for the past few weeks, and it finally hit that point where I'm just utterly non-functional. At work yesterday I felt dizzy I was so exhausted, and today when I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep, I knew it would be even worse, so I admitted defeat and stayed home. ( Read more... )
