CNY in 2010

I went for a leisurely jog at east coast this morning. 
Leisurely because:
1. My body was wrecked in pain by backaches and cramps yday. It left me mostly bedridden and thankful that I don't have to suffer on an office chair in the cold office aircon. 
2. I'm totally out of shape.

More of reason 2 then 1, really.

So east coast on the first day of CNY

I drove past the beach and I caught a glimpse of this sight too! Just that from afar, I couldn't tell the extent of it. But it was bad enough.

Seriously, was there a dining table there???? Sheeeh.

It's called 'hung lo' and it's something my ah ma used to use for her soups and ba chang making. Her soups were fabulous with this. The meat just falls apart and the soup is always flavouful...yummy!!!

yeah ..tis yr is a break ..ha..nxt yr will return to the old familiar " chu yi" routine.. brunch at 63 and mee siam at serangoon gardens haha......
