So far I have sampled the joys of ReConStruction's registration table and their con suite.

I am new to the convention circuit in the Southeast. It feels odd to be with my tribe and yet know so very few local people. Time will change that, one hopes. I'm off to meet more congoers.

So far so good. I snagged a former PW reviewer to do small press book reviews for A&A, which we are starting in our next edition. And I no longer felt as lost as a kid transferred during high school once some genre friends came over to gab with me and hug.

I don't know that I'll ever lose that feeling of being "the new girl". Even after nearly a quarter of a century, I'm still only on the outskirts when it comes to convention matters.
