So far I have sampled the joys of ReConStruction's registration table and their con suite.

I am new to the convention circuit in the Southeast. It feels odd to be with my tribe and yet know so very few local people. Time will change that, one hopes. I'm off to meet more congoers.

Home and back safe from Turbocon, a gaming con in Turbeville, SC that is held at the family estate. This meant a change from being an invalid on my bed and couch to being an invalid on a different bed and couch, but I got to hang out with real, live human beings and learned how to play things like "Kill Dr. Lucky!" and got reacquainted with UNO. Lots of travel yesterday: because of my ride's schedule I was at the Atlanta airport at 6 AM for an 8:30 AM flight. Delta did their usual great job, except for the fact that I was offered 17 (I counted) peanuts as my "snack" on a 6+ hr flight. But I'd packed my lunch and more so it was all good. I despise Citibank. Brian pointed out to me that the proper payment for my "no interest for 12 months" medical account (hearing aids) is not the requested $193 a month; for us to avoid the accrued interest the payments are more like $400 a month.
