Really good - I laughed, I cried, I kissed $11 goodbye (all literally - thanks, Cinema De Luxe - or actually, since was my lady's treat - thanks Girlie). Was good - kind of a cross between a Wes Anderson flick (Life Aquatic, Rushmore, Royal Tannenbaums) and that Blind Melon video with the little Bumble-bee chick. No - I am not kidding. Good to know about LMSunshine.

I saw a ton of stuff for The Fountain at comic-con last year. It looks beautiful and I can't wait to see it.

Requiem was a fantastic film ... that I'll never watch again. I think it should be shown to teens as an anti-drug campaign.

Pi is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Darren Aronovsky rules.

Pi ruled - it hurt my head, but it ruled. One of the few movies I owned.

I am not a fan of Requiem - not just from a "it makes me wanna barf" perspective - A Clockwork Orange makes me wanna barf, and I still recognize it as a good film. Requiem is more like a senseless orgy of depression to me - like one of those movies that needs to be as depressing and brutal as it can be, cause that's the artsy way. I understand that it is trying to give a good solid "just say no" message - but Trainspotting pulls that off with occasional injections of art and comedy.
