I've got an aspiring serial killer who, at the moment, lives in the Sawara-ku ward in the Japanese city of Fukuoka.

When the story I'm writing begins, he is planning to abduct and kill a victim, using a temporarily vacant house in the neighboring ward, Jounan-ku, as the place to commit the crime. Both of these wards are primarily residential areas.

Um, steal a car? SUV? Accomplice? Just like in America--think LA or NY. And go to google maps and just type type in "Sawara-ku" and "Joanan-ku." Then, when you've been given a rough distance, make up a place--or use a real place, same diff--for both areas and...well, you're set.

I think google maps was the one that gave me the whole map in Japanese, but I'll re-check...
