Oh my goodness, me too. So much more than the first time I went, incidentally. Not sure why that is.

I just think castles are so interesting! It was my good luck to travel with an archaeologist whose main criteria for choosing our destinations was "Does it have a cool castle?" :)

Sorry you didn't get to see the site where Torchwood was filmed! It's definitely one of the places I absolutely HAVE TO see when I finally visit Cardiff. ;)

I absolutely love this shot. Cardiff streets look amazing.

By the way, if you're fascinated by castles and if you ever go to mainland Europe, come visit the Czech Republic. We have way too many of them. ;)

The next time I go back to the UK, I definitely want to see the Torchwood exterior. We were going to do it in the morning before we caught our bus, but we would have been dragging our luggage with us, and we didn't want to get up early enough to walk it. :)

I would love to see some castles that aren't British! I imagine they're mostly similar, but with architectural differences. It would be fun to compare.
