Life is sucking. A lot. At the momement I just want to crawl in a hole and die. Let's see... All of the people I like, are either dating or are untouchable. School? Sucks. The weather? Snow, freezing rain and sleet. No sign of it letting up anytime soon. And to top it all off? The cherry on my wonderfully crummy life? I have NEVER felt this alone

You seem full of despair, but I have to say, there is so much more to the world. Being isolated in a small community and being different can be lonely and strange, frightful and disheartening, but really, it isn't the end. All you have to do is survive to graduation.

I wish I could show you what my eyes have seen. I have traveled and explored. I have seen what the world offers and desire to see so much more.

Small communities often fall prey to small minds. Townies who have never left their little area, let alone the State or Country.

Unfortunately, there isn't much that I can say that will matter. The choices you make in life, are yours, you own them, they are one of the few things that are entirely you. Just make good choices and remember, that though you have not met many of us on your LJ, we are out in a world that does have hope, that is open to the different and that is ready to embrace a kindred spirit.

i totally agree with what last_bastion said in his last paragraph. it really sums it up. your friends are out here. we know how you feel and what you are going through. we may never meet in person, but, we stand behind you.

no, dont give up. sometimes you have to go into "stealth mode". just lay low for a while. hold tightly to your beliefs. if you have to go to war, try to pick your battles as best you can.

i'm a fairly progressive/liberal type of person...but, just about everyone in my family is conservative. i DONT talk politics with them. i know i WONT be able to change their minds. its sheer stupidity to go into a battle that you DONT HAVE TO that you KNOW you CANT WIN. whenever they talk politics, i just keep my mouth closed and listen to them. if i HAVE to make a comment i try to make it something like "i see what you're saying" or something bland like that. makes them think i agree with them.
