demondog's vet wants to do another round of surgery. This time they will actually do exploratory surgery and a bacterial culture for a mere $925 fee. It would have been nice to have been told before the first surgery that none of this would be taking place. It most certainly would have changed my decision to go ahead with the biopsy

if you haven't taken care of this already, my vet puts coupons (usually one for free pet exam) in the third or fourth page of the chronicle every week. The vet is Wells Branch Pet & Bird Clinic, and they have a south austin one too, forget what it's called. But the coupons are very helpful, and I haven't had any problems with them.
