I also think grapefruit is gross!

*beams*

Was there another part to this post? OH YES. I agree! I narrow my fave reality shows to those where I can see the way people are talented, if that makes sense. Like Top Chef and Project Runway and So You Think You Can Dance (and OMG, TOO LONG OF A TITLE) let me see these particular worlds of talent and ability and drive and it's really just fascinating. I can't DO any of the things they do and I am just completely intrigued.

And dancing is just HOT, yo. :) HI, darling!

Is it wrong that I want to do dirty things to Mike Rowe?

If it's wrong, then I am the wrongest wrong that ever did wrong.

(And so is QB, a little).

Oh, so is wing2j. I informed him that Senor Rowe is a classically trained opera singer and his face looked like this.

QB says that if loving Mike Rowe is wrong, he doesn't want to be right.

Yes, damn it. I've said I don't like reality shows, but I realized recently that what I really don't like are useless reality shows, ones that any idiot can sign up for and do well in. You have to be smart, trained and/or creative to be on the kind of reality show I want to get into.

Ooo, and add Shear Genius to that list of good ones. Man, that show was supposed to suck. I don't even get how it turned out so awesome, but YAY!

Also, I concur. Grapefruit IS gross.

Oh, I am so on the Shear Genius train (obvsly.). It would have been on the list, but QB doesn't feel like he actually learns anything from it, and I was trying to appease him. Also, he's a dude - he doesn't understand that hairdressing is very much an art, and a meaningful one in my day-to-day life. But Shear Genius is so very awesome. And I really did think it was going to suck, too.

I think that as long as you have learned that if you walk into a salon and Paul-Jean or Lacey is there you should turn right back around and walk out again, Shear Genius has at least taught you one very valuable lesson. :)

Indubitably.

Also, if Evageline starts to whip out her hedge clippers, back slowly away and avoid eye contact, because BITCH CRAZY.

It even has some ironic avant-garde "My name is .... Sex!" thrown in for good measure. Fabulous!

That dude is just WRONG. I blame his mother.

Also, the fact that his MOM was telling the cameras his nickname was Sexy was freakin' creepy.

Oh, for reals. I like to think that Nigel got through to him for just a minute - he almost seemed to get it for a split second. But i doubt it made a significant difference.

I actually do not watch that show, mainly due to paranoia. Dude! My co-worker got robbed yesterday!

My husband and I watch that show, and it is HOT. Also, it tells us how stupid we are. One time, they were reprimanding this couple for leaving a ladder in their backyard, and my husband and I just look at each other. Then he quietly gets up, goes out the back door and retrieves the very tall ladder (tall enough to reach our second floor windows) we've had in the backyard for months. Clearly, we want to be robbed. Because it's hot.
