I really do WANT to like this show, but it just keeps bothering me. The premise is all sorts of squicky on consent issues, and now we add this, which was scary in bad ways. I'm just not sure if it's got some deeper level I can relate to. I keep hearing it picks up.

The way I am going of late, you might get an exhaustive email live blog about what is sure to be my epic love of Paul Gross +CRAZY hair+Shakespeare, until you want to drive down and throttle me a little (extends disclaimer of "you are welcome to tell me to shut the hell up at ANY time" *g*)

I ship Sam/Dean, and I get why people are upset at this season, but it's gone from a show I like a lot to OMFG MY SHOW! It just keeps GOING THERE, and doing EXACTLY what I want it to do, and being dark and smart and so fucked up. I love Sam/ Ruby! I love Dean and Castiel and what these richly textured, fallible, badass gangster angels say about the show's mythology. I even love Dean/Anna, and how Dean SCREWED AN ANGEL, knowing that is what she was. (And how playing mental copypasta with those two sex scenes makes the Sam/Dean porn in my head work better - Sam going all toppy!growly!grabby! and Dean just wanting to be taken ) I loved the siren, and Dean's endless emo, and the giant talking teddy bear!

I acknowledge that I have a marked tendency to ramble (*points up at page of accent meta*) and that I occasionally fail to properly interpret social cues. So the "you can tell me to shut the hell up" thing occasionally needs iterated. Especially after abusing your inbox all this week :D ( ... )

I actually liked the 2nd ep of Dollhouse about a hundred times more than the pilot, which I found dull and confusing. At least there are hints of plots to come. Plus I like the relationship between Echo and her handler. Hmmm. I suppose it's rather like the relationship between Buffy and Giles. Fatherly.

I think this might have worked better as a first ep than the pilot they aired - it gave us a reason for the frame story that the pilot was utterly lacking, and science!boy could grow on me.

Still, it squicked me. I had a hard time watching towards the end.

I totally shipped Buffy/Giles. I fail SO HARD at platonic!

8+ hours a day in a job that is mostly data entry, VERY little human contact. ... I don't talk to people, people don't talk to me, and so having someone I know from the internet read me porn about beloved characters is the closest I come to having a conversation on somedays
