There's something utterly delightful about the concept of the boys dealing with the law, isn't there? *adores* Even if I kept confusing the male cop's name, thanks to Babylon 5... ;)
Not a picspam.
( 2x07: The Usual Suspects )
Diana Ballard knows that CTRL+Alt+Del is the solution to most problems with the Windows.
\o/ One of my pet peeves is people in movies/shows hitting the ESC key first - the three-finger reboot is far more likely to work.
Is it just me, or is Sam getting prettier and prettier by the episode?
[semi off-topic]Funny how I was a total Deangirl at first, but much closer to bi-bro nowadays. ;) [/semi ot] Did you notice how Dean looks progressively more tired the closer we get to Croatoan (and the appearance of Sam's emo shirt of DOOM)? So compared to Dean, Sam does look prettier and prettier. God I love this show and the details!
I would really like to know how that exhuming in St. Louis went...
Me too. But hey, that's one thing that could end up helping the boys later on. If, y'know, we get another ep with Hendricksen wondering how his case is all screwy.
Hmm... you may have a point with that idea: Dean did, indeed, look progressively worse for wear... *ponders*
One of the dreams/wishes I have is that there will be an outside-POV episode. Some episode where, maybe, Hendricksen's character was explored, and the boys would be on-screen relatively little. I adore the boys to pieces, but... that's just something I'd love to see in canon. And they'd get to drive home just how the 'rest of the world' (as personified in Hendricksen's character) views the Winchesters...
Have we ever had such an episode? Roadkill (2x16) comes close, but that's all, right? It could be delicious... *dreams*
Incidentally, would you be interested in joining sammessiah? There's crack and angst and wincest flitting around there. :)
Oh, an outsider's POV would be so, so awesome! There have been some elements of it in a few episodes, but Roadkill is probably the best example (Faith, Usual Suspects, Nightshifter and Tall Tales come to mind). Seeing the boys from a completely different POV would almost be a mind-fuck (especially if we're in Hendricksen's head).
*checks the comm* OMG! Demon Jesus Manifesto! Holy crap, that's just wrong magnificent! *joins*
[off-topic] I've hit a small snag with the NBK fic (yes, still writing the damn thing) and I wondered if I could borrow your brain for some input...? Mainly I just need to keep the boys from going full-on OOC. [/ot]
I love this episode and am so tempted to watch it again - it was great to see someone else's (sortof) POV of the boys and also the fact that it played with the stereotypical television crime drama just made me ten kinds of happy.
And that comm you linked? Is the most beautiful-lest thing ever. <3 <3
This was, indeed, a wonderful episode, and the extra characters were downright awesome... even if they did slap us silly by putting Linda Blair and her 5'2" next to Padalecki...
sammessiah is pure delight, yes. Go, join! You know you want to! :D *adores*
Beyond the Dean against the wall scene and the close up of Sam's gigantic man paws, this episode made me go "meh". Maybe it was the lack of tension with the boys cornered and sitting in rooms or maybe it was the absence of the brotherly dynamic/banter/bitchfests because they were separated for most of the episode. I don't know. What makes me spazzy is usually hard to quantify in a concrete way. But whatever it is, this episode didn't have it. The gray palate they used in the episode (like "Roadkill") was rather depressing and visually boring. Well, aren't I just a ray of sunshine?
Oh, Sam is my personal Jesus. Forever and ever. Amen.
Crack rules. Especially Sam's crack. Oh, I mean Sam crack.
Seems like there isn't an episode I wouldn't like and/or adore on a rewatch. Because I distinctly remember No Exit not really floating my boat, and now I love it for Jo.
This episode, though... I got my Sam-fix and the Diana-Sam interaction does something funny to me. :)
And you're right... Sam's crack definitely rules! :P
The comm's layout will probably be red and yellow, btw. ;)
This episode was a delight, yes. And Dean has that cock-of-the-walk air around him that's just... *adores* Not to mention the fact that it's nice see him being slammed against a wall. Unfortunately not by Sam, but...I'll take what I can get! :D

And we're all his willing subjects, too!
Feel free to pick my brain. Even if I believe I've started losing those precious braincells... ;)
