This is a ramble on how I fell in love with Sam Winchester all over again and why I hope like hell Ellen's on the side of angels in all this.

I've never looked at that scene that way. I've mostly only ever thought of Ellen as in interloper, busting in where she doesn't belong.

She could've said the things she said in a slightly kinder manner, yeah. I somehow forgot all that once Sam and his "I'm a hurt puppy. Take care of me?"-eyes faced the camera... ;)

I saw Ellen as the surrogate mom figure... to the boys and all her patrons. Obviously, she knows a helluva lot about the boys via John, down to how close Dean was with his dad

Ellen was an awesome character. I wish they haven't lost her ( or transformed her permanently), and she'll appear in future episode(s).

Dean's terrified of what Sam's 'freaky visions' are a sign of, no doubt about. He has been, ever since Home (1x09), and now, watching early S2, knowing what John told him... poor, poor, poor Dean.

I'm afraid that yeah, without Sam's supernatural-bend... Dean would've probably pulled the trigger on a couple of PsyKids, himself. And seeing the world in black and white.

I felt that Ellen's no-nonsense attitude was perfect for her character. So maybe she didn't want to hear any BS from Dean and she made it clear to him, but she was willing to listen to them. And Ellen shares this look with Dean while Sam's telling about his visions... Like she's keeping an eye on Dean that he doesn't just freak out and take off suddenly. *loves the show*

Ellen's a delight, among many delicious characters. *hugs her*
I wish she'll join forces with Tamara and they'll go around the States kicking ass and knocking some sense into the boys, time and again.
