Phew.

Dear lord in high heaven- I have just finished a marathon watching of Season four of 'Queer as Folk.' I started on Friday afternoon and just turned off the finale. Note to self, however: never buy foreign DVDs again. They apparently have a tendency to be crap and act like they're completely scratched up when all is well- I struggled ( Read more... )

isnt season 4 amazing??? just, overall... but some moments.. gah... i still need to own all of them. i can't believe it is over. :(

Yeah, I can't get the season 4 theme out of my head, either. I wish someone would make a screensaver of the opening credits!
It's over?!?!? I didn't know that. So they stopped at season five. No wonder the second half of S4 was so dramatic, they're trying to cram in as much story as they can before it ends...
I agree with you about Melanie and Lindsay, Sadcypress. They just seem like the token women, rather than part of the main cast. The L-Word does the same thing in having a token straight-guy.

Sadly, S5 is indeed the end. I can understand wanting to go out while you're still strong, but this was groundbreaking television, and it's a pity to see it go when there's still so much to be said.

I've never watched The L-Word, but I am highly amused that there's a token straight guy. :)
