I have just met the FOURTH PERSON in RL who saw my beloved Twelfth Night at the Globe. Truly, this is the production that o'erleaps all bounds of common sense.

This other person is one of my fellow TAs and we've just spent time flapping hands over Mark Rylance and his loveliness/batshit insanity. Rapture!

Oo, maybe! I'm trying so hard to not spend money that I can't afford, but it's definitely a tempting idea!

Gah. I keep running into people who've seen that production, and when I ask them how it was, they just say, "Oh, it was really good" or "It was the best show I've seen" or something. Do not they know that I need DETAILS?!?

It is very frustrating.

Oh man, I had a PROJECT. I actually sat down after seeing it the second time with a notebook and a copy of the text and tried to basically create a prompt book. I wrote down every element of staging I could remember and tried to figure out where the cuts were... The plan was to compile it all together with the text and then have it FOREVER and TREASURE IT.

And then my senior year of college began and it died a tragic and untimely death. :(

Hee. I always have such plans to make detailed notes of performances I see, but if I don't do it right away, it never happens. At least you got some of it written down!
