I like it really much. I love how you put the situation in Conrad's room; not as tidy as it used to. And this is my favorite line--

And really, I'm a very lazy person, because it'd probably have been better to address all of their issues separately and over time, but. Here I went with, "LET'S TRY TO THROW IT ALL INTO ONE FIC!!" DX Haha, but at least they're starting to work out their issues. :> I guess that's the most important thing.

*beams* Thank you! My writing isn't always this descriptive, but I found that the detail just seems to come naturally to these two. Probably because there's just so much between them -- emotion, history, angst, love, friendship, dynamics, etc. -- to explore. ^_^

You have all my love for writing such a lovely introspective piece that really examines the unfairly missing episodes between the betrayal and the re-acceptance of Conrad.

the one soul he's been living to love and dying to protect <--- I loved this line!!! It accurately describes Conrad to a T.

Also the way you used the condition of the room as an analogy for Conrad's tangled feelings was lovely. In fact, everything was perfect!! The tiny details that you include can really make you feel as if you were there, it was that intense.

Thank you! I haven't read a whole lot of KKM fanfiction yet (I only got into the series about a week or so ago? haha) and most of it has been more lighthearted ConYuu fluff, and while I do enjoy it, I figured it's about time that someone started addressing some of the big issues between them, because while I do want to see them become a happy couple, in my mind, there's several things they'd definitely have to address. Although the Betrayal Arc was mostly resolved, as you said, there's definitely something missing. I can imagine that Conrad probably had quite a few demons to face, post-Betrayal Arc, in addition to the issues he and Yuuri already have (eg. Julia), so that gave me a nice starting point. ^_^ I do feel rather guilty though, because I realize that in reality the best approach would've probably been for the two to address each issue separately and over time. But I just don't have it in me to attempt a multi-chapter epic these days, so... :3 well, maybe in the future? Haha, we'll see

Loved this! There isn't enough ConYuu out there, but this is an excellent addition. ^^ The characterization is great, especially the parts told from Yuuri's point of view. Keep writing, and thanks for posting!
