And it's not THE first, but one of the first, and one of the longest ones I've ever managed to finish. It's like I feel guilty stealing both an author's characters and setting, so I generally tend towards AUs. I've always wanted to try to write more canon, though.

And maybe he's too young to really know what love is yet, but he can hear something echo inside his own chest, can feel his own heartbeat slow to match the pace of Conrad's, and he thinks that it's something important.

Agrees.Conrad is one of the most understanding(likeble) people in the anime.I don't see what is wrong with Conrad and,seriously,I feel that Yuuri is better with Conrad than with Wolfram,who just keeps on insulting the MAOU!Yuuri seems to be the only one that lets his subordinates do whatever they want,which includes insulting him etc...Well,that's one of the characteristics that makes people like him,I guess.

Yuuri's and Conrad's relationship is just so pure,which is why I absolutely love this pairing^^
