As I supposed it would be, my week away from the internet has been very easy to pull off, mostly due to timing. In fact, it will probably happen again next week by default, all the more for the fact that hell week truly begins on Sunday for The Sound of Music.

A summary costuming update-- my 2nd (and preferred) bustier pattern finally arrived yesterday. And I'm so glad that I had plenty of experience with shirt patterns doing the Inara costume because holy frakkin' cow. It was a nightmare. I started to clean the basement when I got home today, but the satin would not leave me in peace. It was a puzzle that wanted a Friday night's energy to solve.

I finally finished up some experimentation with skirt patterns for Rapunzel, and I could use y'all's opinion on the results.

So today, two of my three patterns arrived in the mail. One was the bustier I probably won't even open (boo!) but one was my skirt pack (yay)!!
