What a beautiful weekend.

Friday night I had a graduation party to attend. Then I came home and finished reading The False Princess by Eilis O'Neal. I had taken a break from my Epic Quest fantasy book because I wanted something with a more immediate, satisfying payoff and I was really impatient to read this based on emmaorgana's heartfelt recommendation ( Read more... )

Awww, sounds like such a lovely weekend!

I actually checked out The False Princess and read part of it. It was at the end of my reading hiatus, though, when I was starting to get antsy to write again, and I couldn't really focus on it. I know what you mean about my buttons, though--the whole BFF ship thing. ;)

Of course it was. :D I just love that I have so many friends who are such nerds in so many fandoms that people can quote one thing and it sets off a giant nerd bomb--you know, where then everyone recognizes it or keeps quoting from it. ;)

(And this is one of those Firefly lines that you're very fond of saying. :D)
