So much to do...

Including today (which is over 1/4 over already) I have basically 10 work days left in which to accomplish a small hill of things before year end, which will probably turn into a mountain before too long, as I understand everyone will be pushing work onto everybody else in anticipation of the coming change of the calendar. I love Christmas, but ( Read more... )

Rats! He's younger than me. ;-)

I finished the book. I will try to type up some thoughts soon, but tonight I just feel like crap (physically) and to be honest I don't feel like doing anything that even a little bit resembles work.

Thieves are hot because they're chivalrous. Everyone knows that. =D

Ah, Christmas trees! I wish my family still had one of those, but we don't--the last time we did, I think, was when I was around fourteen. Which makes me very sad. D:

Also: uh, hi. Even though your book hasn't quite come out yet, I've fallen in love with the premise Laura gave me. So...you already have a fan. And, er, thanks for friending me! :D

Haha, no problem. Laura "introduced" me to you (that is, your LJ) the other day and you were just too interesting a person to pass up. Plus, you know, my ego loves the whole "predetermined fan" thing. We both think it's pretty funny that you found us independently of each other. Thanks for the feedback on my HP fics. I'm pretty bad about getting back to feedback on fanfic, especially since I don't write too much of it anymore.

Nice to meet you!

Haha, it's been foretold in the stars--"DESTINY," and all that. Clearly, this is a very good sign. =p

And don't worry about the fanfic response--I've been bad with checking ff.net lately, too...which makes me feel guilty. >.>

Nice to meet you, too, btw. =3

What everyone else said. It's because thieves have been portrayed as good in so many stories. Robin Hood, obviously, is a huge one. For some thieves, it's that they steal from the bad guys and give to the good guys. Other people are portrayed as thieves and it's how they survived. (Briar from Circle of Magic, for example.) Heck, even most of the Final Fantasy series always has a thief in their game on the side of the good guys. The thief is sometimes a girl, sometimes a guy, but as everyone else said--charming, witty, and fun. ;)
