I'm one of those crazy people who started NaNoing in the middle of the month. To be more specific, I started on day 11. My first ever NaNo, and I started extremely late.. now I'm at 26k, and I have another 10 days to write another 23k words ( Read more... )

It definitely is intimidating, I agree. It's more fun than I expected though, so I recommend trying it next year (or even this one :P). Even if you don't finish, that month of feeling that you SHOULD write may inspire you... and I'm of the opinion that anything higher than 0 is an accomplishment. :D

Found your post on the LJ Board. First of all, Kudos for winning NaNoWriMo! Second, now that I've learned what "Bones" is about (granted, skipped around the seasons, focusing on Vincent's time), curious to read your story.
My NaNo word count this year included an Alphas/Warehouse 13 crossover only because I failed to finish that story in time before NaNo. Did cross the finish line, but this year's novel isn't quite done - yet.

I'm curious about your crossover as well. Never seen Warehouse 13, but I plan to start watching it one of these days!

Haha, I'm glad I could introduce you to Bones. Hopefully you liked it. I'll probably post my story on FF.net once it's done, but that might take awhile... it's not fit for human consumption at this point. :P
