you do a lot more travelling than I do :)

I am of two minds about "Life is beautiful" - mainly because I think it is two disparate films put together: the first half a rousing comedy and the second half a - hmmm - a stereotypical WWII Nazi Concentration Camp film.

I loved the first half. But I thought the second half was overtly manipulative (unliked Schindler's List).

A lot of my traveling is business. Though tonight's trip and Columbus are for pleasure.

Why did you think the 2nd half of the movie was stereotypical?

Have you seen Notorious? When I saw that you had commented I was sure you were going to comment on that.

I have not seen Notorious in awhile. But I am sure it is one of my favorite Cary Grant - Hitchcock films. But when you have seen it two or three times, there is not that much to watch it for anymore. Overall, I think it is a great film ( ... )
