In the interest of getting something up here besides me whining about how broke I am, I offer an intellectual challenge!

Under the cut is a drawing of two nekkid people in bed togeher.  They are both butt-naked.  They are rosy of cheek and  well satisfied.  So!  Is this porn?  Or simply nude art?  Whdo you think so?  What's the difference?

Um. . . . ( Read more... )

I don't know if I agree with that. I mean, there's plenty of porno mags that are just shots of naked women (or men) posing with . . . I dunno, big candy canes or sports cars or whatever.

Obviously a shot of a naked woman giving the camera a 'come hither' look doesn't count as mid-coitus. But a naked woman splayed across the hood of a car is obviously pornography.

I actually have a picture of this same couple mid-coitus . . . . but with no nudity. It's flaming obvious what they're doing, but there's enough drapes of cloth and loose hair to disguise any naughty bits. They'd be more naked wearing swimsuits. I might add it to this post when I get home just to confuse the issue. XD

This picture always struck me as more 'sweet' than 'hot', frankly.

Porn is the actual act -- that is, them having sex. It ceases to be porn the moment there is no smut. Thus, your b-e-a-utiful picture JB and Clay is nude art. At least, that is what this connoisseur of smut believes. ;p

On the flip side of the coin, what about people who are turned on by intimacy? They are out there. They would consider this picture arousing.

This classifies as art. It makes a clear statement and is intended to only make that statement. A happy couple cuddling together and sleeping after having some good dirty fun.

If you feel in convays a message or exspresses how you feel then its defined as art.
It its just nudity for the sake of nudity and possibly because sex sells than its porn.

In this case it looks all sweet and romantic and its obviously something you love even when they're not naked so I'd say art! :D
