Update:  I'm loving the writing of this big bang.  Scared as shit because 15,000 words seems impossible for me.  That's like a freakin' novel.

*glares hard at all you 20,000-80,000 wordies peoples*

But! I have over 6,000 now so I'm more than a third of the way through. *calculates with the math skills of a brain challenged mole*

6,000 is awesome! Go you! I've just started putting together the idea for my JDM bigbang story in my head but I need to start writing it one of these days.

6,000 is awesome for me. The most I ever wrote was like 18,000 and it was the cowboy!fic from hell which I loved but was like nine chapters and wouldn't stop. And took a year to write so I don't count that really. I'm more of a 3,000-7,000 TOPS so this is a stretch. I just hope I can keep everyone interested!

More than 1/3 of the way done is great! And I know how you feel. I don't do outlines either, and I wish sometimes I did, but the story either is there or it isn't and just making it up as you go along, works best for some people. Also, run on sentences are bad. :D

I'm so excited too. So many writers and different perspectives of a man that is almost impossible to pin down in terms of characterization. I just wish I KNEW what was going to happen. Folks say...
"I have chapters one thru seven outlined and know exactly where I want to end."

I, on the other hand, am saying JOHN - Dude talk to me! You have a story to tell BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT REALLY IS AND HOW CAN I TELL FOLKS IF YOU WON'T LET ME IN

And then he gives met that slightly growly look that melts my heart and I just shut up and wait for him to speak.

And the Jack...Sometimes Patron. Did you know John loves Patron? It's a little rich for his pocketbook (and mine) but he can be very persuasive when it comes to bribery.

Yuck, I get spit on by patients, and other bodily fluids. The Muse she wouldn't dare. But she is a moody bitch isn't she?

And my Muse - would sooner chop off her right arm than use an outline. I blame it on an eighth grade English teacher who insisted of outlines for everything.
