Update: I'm loving the writing of this big bang. Scared as shit because 15,000 words seems impossible for me. That's like a freakin' novel.

*glares hard at all you 20,000-80,000 wordies peoples*

But! I have over 6,000 now so I'm more than a third of the way through. *calculates with the math skills of a brain challenged mole*

Awesome!!! Can't wait for the final product :)

I've never used an outline before. Found them too daunting or something? The closest to one I've had is in this 7B story I'm writing now... I've had so many different scene ideas for this epic that I have written one-line descriptions as to what's going to happen in them (so I don't forget a zillion pages down the line) and put them in what order I believe the scenes will fall. So far I've only made one order change.

I'm impressed and amazed by those who use outlines but they don't seem tailored for me ;)

Best of luck with the next two thirds!!! Something I'm definitely looking forward to :)

At least you have descriptions! I do wish I could outline because maybe things would flow better. Still, writing is so organic to me, there is little rhyme or reason and that seems to work in my case. Sometimes though it makes for inconsistencies. Which is why an awesome beta gaelicspirit or chemm80is so helpful.

They help keep me in line and make for a much easier read for all the folks who want to give it a go.

Yes. Please talk to my preceptor at work. She has a list of shit I can't do.

But writing? I may not be the best but I love it and it makes me happy. Much like nursing. *giggles*

I'm impressed with the math skills. When adding up stuff at work with a calculator I still get different answers so I have to do each figure like THREE times.

So freakin' wrong.
