Horsey stuff, the saga continues and DONKEYS HATE ME

Apr 26, 2010 19:09

So it is week three of working at the barn.  Which means only two days of work under my belt.  All the horses are in because it is shitty and rainy. But in the 50s - 60s. My thoughts are - turn 'em out in the rain - but I ain't the one paying the bills.  And all the stalls are full up. We can turn 'em out in the indoor but there are lessons going ( Read more... )

rl, funny, horsey stuff

Oh man, what a crazy experience! Not what you wanted, I'm sure, but go you for getting through it. And yay on the interview!

I was so not prepared for the donkey attack. Luckily for me, the interview went better. They doc really likes me, admits I am overly qualified and just about hired me on the spot.

Hope he doesn't want any DONKEY REFERENCES!

"Still, since I am still in recovery from my near death experience of horses (So what if it was nine years ago)" There is no time limit on recovery from near death experiences of any kind, but especially from the kind where you are still in very close contact with some form of the thing that caused the experience. Sounds like you had a very exasperating day! Congrats on the job interview and good luck!

Oh, man, it is almost embarrassing to say how scared I was. Of a 40 inch donkey but I was barely holding it together (both figuratively and metaphorically) Now I can laugh but earlier today I was wigging out.

I have to say, I handled it despite my whining. I feel like I have made a break though in my phobia about horses, even if it was related to donkeys.

To be truthful, a horse would have never done that.

Thanks though for the positive thoughts.

Jeez, babe. You had quite the day. I think this experience needs to be translated into Dean and Sam verse the donkeys.

That's awesome about the interview. Woot indeed!

I was freaking out in the barn. But I don't think that anybody realized it but me. *puffs chest with subversive ability to lie to everyone*

Thanks on the interview. It felt great.

Congrats on the interview going well! The donkey story is hilarious. Now it's over. I'm sure it wasn't as amusing at the time. Agree with kimmer1227...this needs to appear in a Dean and Sam story.

You people are not quite right. Or maybe it is me that is not quite right.

I will think on donkey fic but honestly Brigid. THIS IS A PROMPT?

Well, I'd rather have more of the western AU, but the donkeys would be fun. Especially with teen or wee-chesters. LOL!!
