I haven't posted in forever and I want everyone to know how much all of your kindness and gentle words and encouragment has helped.  My life is still a clusterfuck.  No other word for it.  But my oldest is getting married this weekend.  That is a joy and a celebration that will be bittersweet.  No John to be with me.  It sucks in that respect. So

This weekend will be the epitome of bittersweet. I can't even imagine the rollercoaster of emotions you and those close to you will be going through. I hope you will be able to soak in as much of the happiness as you can. You deserve it.

I'm delighted that you climbed back in the saddle. That's so awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. Good on ya!

As for prompts, I'm wondering if you could use that back in the saddle concept and write something in your Cowboy Winchester universe or maybe plunk them in the present on horseback; maybe pre-series with their dad? I know, not much of a prompt but there you have it.

I love your idea. I'm not sure many people would read it, but writing isn't just about who will read what your write, it is more what you need to say. Still, it is always nice to have comments and know that people enjoy what you are writing. Pre-series cowboy Sam and Dean sounds like great fun. Thanks for the prompt!

Well, the day came but it is still really, really slow. That's okay. Baby pony steps. Really old, plodding short ponies. So when I fall off I don't have far to go.
