Ditto on the Mon Tulfo column. I don't usually read him, but that article on how Pinoys usually view civic duty as a burden makes sense.

As for public transport drivers, it does make you realize that you do place your life in their hands, yet they're the most careless drivers. It ought to place things in perspective, but I wonder if we could really ever effect that sort of behavioral change from them.

I hope so. Because it doesn't really speak much for the Filipinos as a whole if this goes on.

That's why I usually hate riding jeepneys, especially those driven by barely legal boys who play their music out loud and have desires to be part of the Grand Prix or something. Madaming ganun sa Marcos Highway. Wah.

I don't know what the world is coming to. Sometimes, I get to think that everytime I leave home, I put my life at risk. The outside world is really scary.

There are days when I'd rather stay home because of all the possible dangers. If only I could access the sites I need to from home, but I can't. True, the outside world is very scary... I guess all we can do is take care as best as we can.
