So, it's about 1:00 pm and I just got home from going into work. Not home from work, mind you. Going to work was the plan. Have my car die on the freeway, leaving me to wait by the side of the road with huge frakking trucks hurtling past for a tow-truck, not so much.

Yikes! Very scary.Glad you could navigate it to a stop and call for help. I hope the car repairs aren't too expensive or time consuming...sounds like you have back up transportation until you get your car back tho. Hey, something to tell D about...or not. He'll worry no doubt.
