Clark's insistence on putting carved pumpkins outside even when huge monsters were roaming camp and causing mass damage and chaos, should have been a warning. As it was, coming back from a hard day at the hospital to find out that the entire cabin had been decked out in tinsel and fairy lights was something of a surprise

"Not bad. The consistencies a little ... but the artificial sugar will do that. Very nice -- quince is it?" Minagawa replaced the spoon delicately.

"That's right," Sophie said around her own teaspoonful. "It was hard finding them in camp, but worth it."

"Indeed. Quince is used so rarely these days ... here's my little offering."

"Blackberry. Nice." Sophie took the trial spoonful happily, but paused, rolling the jam around in her mouth.

"Is there a problem?"

"The consistency. Yours is perfect. Did you get real sugar?"

"That is beyond my capability. I simply made do."

"With what?"

"This is something of a family secret, but if you stir your jam anti-clockwise seven times on the night of a full moon with a silver spoon given to you by a stranger, it always turns out right."

"I see," Sophie said, helping herself to another spoon. "Are you sure you're not a distant relative of ours?"

To be honest, it wasn't really Peter's fault. The x-ray machine could have been eating people after all. It was camp

"Dr Tam, we may be primitive compared to what you're used to, but I do know the difference between an x-ray machine and Mr Kent wearing a white coat." I think that line killed me. Perhaps this day of realization will come. But still...

So good! XDDD Can Clark become our portable x-ray machine? We do seem to have a lot of broken bones these days.

It could well happen in camp. Simon knows about Clark's ability to see through stuff, and Clark told him that he could tell the other doctors on a need to know basis.
