LJ bug or something else?

Hi, I was just wondering if this issue is a LJ bug or it's something else:
Everytime I try to look at a journal/entry of somebody else while using my own style (aka the "?style=mine" in url) everything disappears and I can see only my background and nothing else. Help?

Hi, since I can't even see your recent entries in your own style and have to switch to my style to see your "friends only" post, I assume that you have a similar problem to the one described and solved here. Take a look at this thread and the code it links to. If I'm not mistaken you're using some of the code causing the problem, too. Try removing them and you should be able to see the missing entries again.

That would work but then the annoying ugly-ass frame thingy for ads would be back :-/

I'm aware of that problem, but sadly I don't know of a any code to block the ads without also sometimes inevitably blocking your whole content, too. Well, I can't see your layout at all at the moment, so I'm not sure if changing the ad placement at least would help to place the annoying add frames somewhere else, like the sidebar? It might even be possible to work out different code to block them then, but that's pure speculation on my part. It's hard to recreate the issue while logged-in on a paid account.

Figured out one solution, I added the coding of the frame into my AdBlock filters, others can still see them but at least I don't.

Not just you, mine is having the same issues. I can't see anything in Comments or Birthdays and I'm getting pissed with this mess...

Same here, notifications disappearing doesn't help any either.
