[Paid] Adding a counter to your sidebar

In order to have a counter on your journal sidebar, you will first need to find a site that offers them. I personally use easycounter.com. They give you an html code to copy/paste and the whole process is very simple.

There is more than one place on the journal you can add a counter. You can put it in a custom module box or you can replace an ( Read more... )

I would love to talk about a site design. I am trying to get all of the freelance work that I can so I can pay for college to get my Web development/admin degree. Let me know what you have in mind, and feel free to use my "real" address:

Oh, never mind...if you still want to answer my original question (how or if we can have both the counter and the RSS feeds in the sidebars, plus I have no idea why I got compiler errors when I tried your first method) all well and good, but the SiteMeter isn't behaving right now in the sidebar. I checked my ActiveMeter, which I have on every page, and it recorded 280 uniques/483 pageloads yesterday but the SiteMeter recorded just...drumroll, please...maybe 80 uniques and around 240 pageviews, so something's way off (maybe adding it to the sidebar hinders it somehow? It shouldn't, though, I've had counters in the sidebar on Wordpress and they worked just fine). I checked today's stats and again a big difference in hits/pageviews -- ActiveMeter showing more. I like my stats pretty precise, so I'm going to put the RSS feeds back in the syndicate module and just call it a day.

I think my site's improved with your advice so thanks again.

Is there any way that this would work for another module besides syndicate or customtext? What about the poweredby one?
