Author's Notes: Kemaru invaded my brain and has been present in all the challenges I’ve been working on. Wow, talk about hardcore shipping lol. This is a kind of writing style (horribly descriptive (I hope)) I haven’t really explored, I guess. Comments would be appreciated :)

He walked into the bar that was booked for the night. Taking in his surroundings, he saw an undeniably (taken) pretty boy waving his hand at him, thus he wore a friendly smile and sauntered over to where the hosts of the party were. Without any words, since the conversations they would exchange were probably too soft to be heard over the booming music, he hugged the two males before him. After pulling away, he mouthed (in reality, said) “Congratulations” to the both of them.

The two replied wordlessly; a shy smile accompanied with a light natural blush and a friendly punch on his shoulder that hurt a little respectively. Kibum patted his bottom and shoved him two steps forward, leaning close to his ear and then shouting for him to enjoy the night.

“Yeah! Soohyun-hyung, we’ve got some pretty good drinks!” Kevin said loudly into Soohyun’s other ear, gesturing for him to get some alcohol before hitting the dance floor. Soohyun shook his head with a smile, though Kevin was already kidnapped by his boyfriend.

Looking at the dance floor properly for the first time that night, his senses all tuned out, except for his eyes. He was suddenly engulfed in silence, and the loud beats of the drums actually felt like his heart beating. There were many people dancing and rubbing against one another, enjoying the lack of space and privacy.

In a bright flash, he noticed a banner that read “Happy 3rd Anniversary of Kim Kibum and Kevin Woo!”, hanging from the second level’s railings. There were many faces too, but he had forgotten them the next moment.

He turned his head to see who pushed him forward, closer towards the dance floor. Another flash, but he only managed to capture the girl’s hair in the air, all messed up from her dancing. Soohyun concluded it was an accident, short-term memory reminding him that she wasn’t the only one lost in the music. Maybe he should loosen up like the rest of the crowd too.

Breaking out into a dance suddenly wasn’t what he would do though. He looked around uncertainly for the couple who had invited him over to the party, wanting to find comfort in seeing faces he actually recognised.

A flash, and he spotted the couple making out against a wall. Right, whatever else had he expected from a couple celebrating their anniversary?

He got pushed around a few more times without realising, only finding out after being unable to see the couple anymore. He was thankful for the pushings. The kiss was intense but not something he would appreciate staring at, despite him being unable to turn his head.

Another flash granted him a face of a pretty boy. What his features were like exactly, he didn’t know. It didn’t stay long enough in his memory for him to remember. Yet, there was a nagging voice in him that told him the boy was pretty.

The next flash seemed to be faster, or that his eyes were getting tired from watching the quick flashes. He still couldn’t piece the face together, keeping his head facing the direction of where the other male was. There was a slight memory of the boy really being beautiful, and that he was dancing with his hands flailing in all directions.

Third flash since he spotted the boy allowed him to properly store the (probably) younger boy’s face in his short-term memory and remember him for the next few seconds. Weird, that face spelt “young” in any angle he saw it. Was he truly legal to be in a bar? Soohyun reviewed the boy’s features and realised the eyes of the boy’s were, in fact, on him. Did they look into each other eyes for that moment?

The thought intrigued him, albeit he doesn’t know why he found the boy so interesting. There was just some kind of attraction the boy had, and he took a step closer towards where he thought the other was. In the short second that the white light filled the whole place once again, he couldn’t find the other male.

He disappeared. Was it his hallucination all along, or was there really someone?

Unconvinced, he took another step and forced himself to keep his eyes open, withstanding the high luminance contrast. He saw a polka-dotted jacket that he unconsciously recognised. It was his, and Soohyun was astonished as to how sure he was about it.

Time seemed to return to its original pace when Soohyun slided through the gaps between bodies and ended up face to face with the other male he had been staring at.

Then it slowed down, again.

The next flash had Soohyun staring at the boy lost in his own world, dancing to his heart’s content. Soohyun had the chance to see the big round eyes the shorter male has, though it was obvious that they were unfocused, looking in every direction but not registering the view.

Soohyun found himself looking at the same male the next moment, except that now he had to drop his head downwards, since the boy was grinding against him. He realised that the crowd around were compressing the space between them to the lack of it right then. He didn’t miss the smirk on that face when the flash happened again.

“Name’s-”

His own hands were brought up to the other’s waist without any effort, Soohyun figured his subconscious self was working. The other’s hands that were everywhere else ended up around his neck, grip tightening the same moment Soohyun’s brought the younger’s waist closer. The other male didn’t stop in his dance though, continuing his dance moves while pressing himself against Soohyun.

“Dong-”

When the place was brightened by the strobe lights again, Soohyun was able to memorise the features right before him again. The white, smooth skin; the pink, plump lips; the naturally long eyelashes. Soohyun thought the other male’s face was redder than what he remembered it to be. Was that a blush he saw?

“-ho.”

It was as if in a party, a bar, whatever the event or wherever they were allow them to break the rules. Besides, they both were mature enough to know this wouldn’t last, weren’t they? So Soohyun wasn’t really caught by surprise when he saw the other male’s lips pushed out adorable, face nearing his in the short flash of light. They shared the kiss in darkness and stayed that way for the next series of flashes before the younger one could no longer keep that height by tiptoeing.

He forgot what his instincts told him. He forgot the younger wasn’t legal nor mature.

In case you guys don’t understand, strobe lights flashes are in fact really fast, so what you see is like a movie played in horribly slow motion XD That’s why one sentence breaks up into three, because you can’t say a sentence within a second unless your mouth moves really fast lol. The story doesn’t really make sense, but well XD.

Finished this like five days ago but too many things to update lollll. Have to update Acceleration tomorrow too, hmm, hopefully I don't forget XDD!
