My dad called today to tell me that my grandfather had a stroke this morning, which led into a grand mal seizure. He's still in the hospital, but slowly improving. (He's conscious, somewhat able to talk, and can sort of move both sides of his body...but one side is seriously weaker than the other.) So, I'm heading to Ohio next Tuesday to see him. Today is the first day of the Spring quarter. I'm not at school, and it's really strange to me. Yet lately, I've started to appreciate my freedom and alone time.
