Conscious effort to not have a protected post...

Well, now that I am no longer teaching, I've decided to lighten up on the security and start doing some more public posts. Of course, however, the juicy ones are still protected. =P

So far the job hunt has made some progress (though small). I've gone to some networking opportunities, submitted resumes to jobs that I like, and have been actually keeping up with my Monster account. Maybe it will all pay off someday?

I've also been trying to add more things to my website (evasnee.com), and came across a logo I made for a marketing class a few years ago. (I had to basically create a fictional company and come up with a business plan and branding for it.) Today, I touched up the logo a bit and slapped it onto my website. The climber is my brother--I took the photo on a climbing trip we took when I was in college. I miss climbing.

Maybe one day I'll open up a climbing store and I'll use this logo. Maybe.

This past weekend, ehart8283 and her hubby came to Seattle. It was one of the best weekends I've had in a LONG time. We did the normal touristy stuff, but also managed to fit in a St. Patrick's Day/dedalusrex birthday celebration, too. I hadn't seen the Hartmanns since they got married two years ago. I was really sad to see them go. :( dedalusrex was making fun of how mopey I was after we dropped them off at the airport. Sad hobo.
