A potent and thoughtful offering, evoking the owl as both a raptor and a symbol of wisdom. It is edgy, but not so dark as to frighten a listener away. This is more the dark with eyes flashing barely beneath the shadows, encouraging the listener to peer into their own shadows for a closer look at what may linger. A nice companion piece to Uffington Horse's "Animals All The Same" and AJA/Heather Alexander's "Blood & Passion".

Mmmmmmmmm. Hard to English, but I couldn't stop humming the bass line... "resonate" is a good word for that song. It really hits something I can't describe. Gonna need to put that in rotation for a while and think on it.

ladyallyn reminded me that we were there when you (first?) played it at Soul Food... but I had forgotten that even after playing it twice until she said something, because the way this is laid down it's *so* much richer, almost lush... but lush is the wrong word because that's a spring/summer word, and this definitely gets across autumn, when the moonlight can come through bare branches....

+1 on that last paragraph. I don't know your muses, but they've inspired a really good song... and the other folks on both sides of the mike make everyone sound more awesome.

Jubilant is a good word. It's what I'll be when I can finally hand K a dead president and you a sharpie and say "sign, please?" :)
