My inner Takuya/Tsuyoshi fangirl just ran wild with this fic. Lol... I've always felt that of all the Members, they are the ones who are in the extreme, complete opposite spectrum of each other, yet over the years, they just accepted each other, differences and all. <3 And, I'm glad that you enjoyed Tsuyoshi's relationship with the others.
Please, write as long as you like. When it comes to SMAP, I can go on and on for hours. Haha... And, I'm in the same boat with you about smapfic. I adore the stories that you have written, and I look forward to more of your works (if you're planning to write XD). By the way, do you mind if a add you as a friend?

Or maybe that's just me :P I love thinking about SMAP like this, I guess that's probably why I love writing fic for them XD
And no problem, I was just about to ask if I could friend you myself! :)

But then, their dynamics change when its just the two of them, away from SMAP. Haha... In their SMAPxSMAP batsu games, they were so cute because Tsuyoshi was totally acting like Takuya's younger sibling (especially in the one where they had to climb Mt Fuji with Tsuyoshi being so hungover and Takuya being so hyper XD).
Of course, this might all not be true, but as fangirls, we can always dream, can't we? ;D
And, if all else fails, there's always fanfiction. ROFL!

I like this part: "If there was one thing that Kimura-kun admired above all else, it was a person who gave their all to whatever they did." Now that's true - because it's something Kimura takes pride in himself.
I actually liked the Japanese dialogue, too. Sometimes I have the problem that I'm imagining a scene in my head, but when I come to write it down I realise I'd imagined the dialogue in Japanese... and then it just doesn't translate quite right. It's quite confusing.

And, I'm glad that the Japanese dialogue came out okay. :D I completely empathize with your confusion. I was actually struggling with the dialogue in this fic. After I had written it, I realized that the English translation didn't quite carry the meaning and the tone that I was going for. I really debated on changing it because it would mean that there would be a mixture of Japanese and English dialogues, but then I decided that I really needed those particular lines to come across as emotive as possible because they were integral to the fic (especially Takuya's "yoku ganbatta"), so this was the final result. XD

I really enjoyed it, and it touched me so much that now I'm sitting here sobbing, because it's so real, all these emotions, tense, fear and finally acceptance, and all the warmth from all the members - it's great, hontoni :))

On Takuya and Tsuyoshi: I wonder too; how did they work it all out? I mean, if you look at them now, you can just sense the closeness despite their contradicting characters. Takuya is just so protective and caring when it comes to Tsuyoshi (Takuya is always like this with all his friends though ♥). There was this one time, Tsuyoshi wanted a camera that Takuya owned, and Takuya searched high and low for another one so he could buy it for Tsuyoshi as a gift. On the other hand, Tsuyoshi always has this admiration of Takuya, and he always has complete faith in him. <3 ( ... )
