It took me nearly a season to articulate why their treatment of Black men bothered me. :/ It wasn't until Isaac died that I managed to figure it out.

Apparently Dean got beaten all to hell, Sam was drinking Ruby's blood in a weirdly erotic scene, and there was calling Dean a "righteous man" (LOL NO), and other such fanservicey things, so it depends on whether you're willing ignore another dead Black guy.

There are days when I'm very glad I haven't watched most of this season. I like the mythological figure of Uriel, and the character looked entertaining, but... it couldn't last. Not on this show.
