I'm missing a bunch of really cool looking panels at BASCon this year (since I'll be back in SF, taking the last of my CSETs and will be gone from, like noon until 5 or 6pm. Lucky me.) Like the "Race in Fandom", and "Crossovers" panel. Sad panda ( Read more... )

Oh I would so go if I could rant about Naruto. Strapping on a head band does not make you a cosplayer! However I don't know how well the panel will do getting by the panel committee. I wouldn't want to have such a 'negative' panel at a convention I run.

Why not? I mean, it's not like the negativity is going to spill out into the halls after the panel's over.

I don't think anyone will disagree with you about the headband thing.

I would fully support you in your effort to bring this to yaoi-con. I say give it a shot, the worst they can say is 'no' afterall.

Sadly, I still haven't made any. Family crises have blocked my going to Bakatersu-con for two years, and I'm too lazy to go anywhere else yet.
