OK so I posted a few minutes ago about my search for an image posting site. I just had an urge to post something else.
I have been playing with all sorts of things here and there, performancing (used to post this), flickr, picasa, google pages, google docs and spreadsheets, and a bunch of other things I cannot remember at the moment.

google docs vs. everyone else:
I like google, like what they do, what they seem to stand for, the fact that they do not seem to be predatory, open source, etc.
I mostly like google docs so far but I feel like they have not quite figure it out (though I am not sure what "it" is) where it relates to online doc tools.

I hate the waiting
I am sitting here at work, waiting for a process to complete and decided to update my blog.
One thing I wish that Performancing allowed was tagging, (not sure how that works or whether technorati tags are the same as lj tags) and mood setting and setting public, vs friends only, vs private.

Christmas Shopping
Doing it online is much easier than doing it in person, but there are still times when you want to hold the item in your hands, flip through the book, check the way the clothing might hang/stretch/feel, check the real color, etc.
Amazon's look inside the book is a nice feature, but it feels too limited too often. It is hard to judge certain types of ( Read more... ) -
server admin
I find that I have become a server admin. I did not really want to be one, and I have no problems supervising one since I know enough to know what is going on without having to do the work myself.
Doing the work myself is the difficult part because, while I know lots of stuff, I do not know everything and it seems you need to know everything in ( Read more... ) -
