The USA QaF con happened and I didn't go. I was really torn about it, I could have planned way in advance, but... I am sure that it would not have been a welcoming environment for a Brian/Michael fan. :\ If even the LJ groups aren't I doubt the con would be ( Read more... )

I'd think they wouldn't invite him for the same reason they didn't invite Sharon - money. Hal probably wanted more money than they could/would give.

As for the beard - Gale could develop a hump on his back and I'd still think he was gorgeous. I actually like the Grizzly Adams look on him.

I don't think Hal would ask for more than the others, he does a TON of volunteer crap and public events for free all the time. But he also is in a Disney show and has his comedy, and his political talk shows, and his band, and... everything else in the world. :\ So I guess probably he was busy.

Gale is hot no matter what! ....But I prefer to see his face.

i think it's not they didn't invited them, it's that they couldn't. Maybe it was the time conflict with the cast's other project, maybe the money thing, I don't know. But Thea, Sharon and Hal went to Germany last year, I'm sure it isn't about not pay respect for those actors that didn't come.

Oh, okay, I was told he wasn't invited and I was like a-whu?! He probably is just busy, he does have a tv show on top of everything else he does. x.x

Although I had a wonderful time, I too was a little disappointed that ALL main actors could not be involved. But there just wasn't enough money for all of them. And it's not that Hal was demanding a larger sum than the others - no one really knows what each actor was paid, except the person that wrote the check - but from the outset it was clear that ticket sales would prohibit inviting all cast members. We almost didn't have Michelle or Robert until a last minute miracle saved not only their contracts but pretty much the entire Con. There were less than 90 tickets sold ( ... )

Wow, only 90 people went?! O_O That's... horrible. The only reason I didn't go was because I felt like I'd be totally unwelcome if I opened my mouth and asked anything about Brian and Michael's friendship, and I have a huge mouth so I wouldn't be able to NOT. I didn't wanna pay that much to go to an event where I would feel that left out. :\

Maybe if the fandom was more inclusive and less JUST Brian/Justin fans... but even then it seems like there should have been way more people attending. Maybe if they had put it in NYC or something?

If they did a con with EVERYONE, including Jack, I would SO be there! ...And Fab! Because zomg he's also on Buffy (well for a hot second) and so that makes him extra cool. XD

I would like to see Makyla smith, I'd be curious to see if she became even more of a beautiful woman that she already was on qaf and jack weatherall, he is a hot guy too. oh also hahah speaking of Fab I like him, just not ethan and i keep laughing about that same connection him being on buffy and or qaf, I saw this one manipulation that made me almost piss myself last night of an old picture of gales head on gales body to make it look like he was clean shaven, my sister and I called it Galeception.
