Summary: Ueda finds himself on a bus going to who-knows-where, and his traveling partner is none other than Nishikido. Bad summary… sorry!
Warnings: Nothing really, except for some silliness and maybe some out of character… and maybe some bad grammar and misspelling.

"Is everything alright?" they heard the middle-age woman ask them as she came out from the kitchen. They quickly pulled away and Ueda got down on the floor to pick up the now scattered plate and food.
"I just dropped my plate" Ueda answered her as she came up to their table, and he glared up at Ryo who looked a bit guilty.
"Oh, let me take care of that and then I'll make you some more food" The kind lady said.
"No, it's okay, we have to leave soon anyways" Ueda said giving the lady a soft smile and continued to pick up the pieces from the floor.
"But, at least let me get you something to eat on your way." The lady said, not bothering to wait for an answer before she was gone.
"Look what you did." Ueda hissed. "You destroyed my food."
Ryo didn't reply, but he seemed guilty and embarrassed. Ueda sighed and got up from the floor, putting the food and what remained of the plate on the table.
"I'm sorry for the food.." Ryo said looking up and meeting Ueda's eyes. "and for the, uhm, kiss…"
"You better be, at least for the food." Ueda said, slowly getting over his frustration.
"I'll make it up for you. I'll buy you lunch or whatever when we're back in Tokyo." Ryo smiled weakly.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" Ueda couldn't help but tease, making fun of the other guy.
"Wha-what?" Ryo spluttered. "No way. Can't two friends go out eating without being seen as a couple nowadays?"
"Calm down" Ueda chuckled. "Can't you tell I'm just teasing, and yeah I'm up for both lunch and dinner"
"And dinner? Are you trying to take advantage of me?"
"Yes, and now I have two kisses from you to keep secret." Ueda smirked. "And keeping secretes makes me extra hungry."
"Where the hell is the bus?" Ryo said, the bus was obviously late and he didn't like waiting.
"It'll be here soon." Ueda assured Ryo patting him friendly on the shoulder, and sure enough the bus arrived just a minute later. They entered the bus and once again Ryo paid for both of them, a few other people entered as well. They walked to the back of the bus and sat down almost at the very end of it.
"The bus trip is about 4 hours right?" Ryo asked as he made himself comfortable.
"Mm" Ueda nodded as he took out his phone and started writing a message.
"Who are you texting?" Ryo asked curious trying to get a look of the screen.
"Just Kame, to let him know we're on the way back and such." Ueda answered as he finished of the text and pressed the send button.
"Good idea" Ryo nodded and suddenly something hit him. "I don't have you're number. Can I have it?"
"Uh, sure you can, if I get yours will say." Ueda smiled, as Ryo found his phone getting ready to type the number.
"Of course you'll get mine. So give it to me." Ryo said inpatient and Ueda chuckled slightly before they exchanged numbers.
"And now smile" Ueda said holding up his phone in front of Ryo's face. "I need an id-picture."
"No way. Isn't getting your picture taken during photo shots enough?" Ryo said shielding his face with his hand just in time for Ueda to press the button.
"Aww, I guess it will do, even if I can't see your face properly" Ueda said a bit disappointed.
"Since you took a picture of me, I guess I should take a picture of you" Ryo smirked. "But you'll be the only one I have a picture of, kinda weird."
"You don't have id-pictures?" Ueda asked surprised. "I have of everyone. I especially like the picture I got of Junno. He looks so dorky in it" Ueda said and showed the picture of Junno. It sure was a dorky picture; he had glasses on, a big trademark smile and was holding his Nintendo DS close next to his face with both hands. The picture made Ryo chuckled and before he knew it Ueda had managed to snap a new picture of him.
"Hey! That was uncalled for." Ryo gasped and tried to get a hold of the phone.
"But you look so nice when you smile." Ueda said holding the phone as far out of reach as he could, while trying to fight away Ryo's arms.
"Of course I do. I always look good but I don't want you going around with a picture, a picture that I didn't even approve of, in your phone." Ryo said and managed to get a hold of the phone just as it started ringing and he accidentally clicked the answering button.
"Hello?" a voice came through the phone and both guys looked surprised at the phone. "Are you there Ueda?"
"Hi, the almighty Nishikido here" Ryo said putting the phone to his ear. "Who is it that has the pleasure to speak to me?"
"Give me back my phone you baka" Ueda said getting a hold of the phone just as the one on the other side answered the question.
"It's Jin" the other person said.
"Oh, hey" Ueda said glaring at Ryo. "Why did you call?"
"Just to check up on JE's newest couple" Jin said and Ueda could almost see the grin that was most likely playing on his friends face.
"We're not a couple." Ueda sighed rolling his eyes. "So please stop calling us that."
"B-bu-but, you guys are like meant for each others." Jin said surprised over Ueda's comment. "I thought you'd realize that by now… So nothing has happened between the two of you? I was sure something would happen when Ryo talked to me yesterday…" Jin sounded truly disappointed.
"No, nothing at all and when did you talk to Nishikido?" Ueda asked and glanced over at Ryo who was listening to his conversation.
"Yesterday" Jin answered.
"Yeah I know that, but when yesterday?" Ueda said rolling his eyes. "Oh, wait a minute was that when I was away getting something to open the wine bottle with?"
"I guess, yeah probably. And when he told me you would be drinking together, I was sure you would end up confessing to each other and I told him how I had confessed to Kame and."
"Ah! Now I understand why he was so happy when I got back" Ueda cut in. "He was relieved to get away from you…"
"You make it sound like I'm a pain in the ass." Jin muttered.
"You are sometime."Ueda smirked. " Well anyway, there is nothing between me and Nishikido except from friendship. And as I am in on the subject friendship, Nishikido and I have something to ask you guys. We were talking about maybe taking a trip together during our summer vacations that starts in a few weeks. You should come too, and the rest of KAT-TUN and NewS. What do you say?"
"Are you sure you want us to come, and not just spend some more alone time with Ryo?" Jin was back to his teasing mode.
"Oh shove it Jin, since you don't seem to be able to behave yourself and just answer my question, I'm going to hang up…" Ueda said annoyed.
"No, wait!" Jin yelled. "I'll behave and a trip sounds like lots of fun. I'll ask everyone else too."
"Good, but I'm going to hang up now anyways. See you later."
"Yeah, see ya and try to keep your hands to yourself, you are on a bus after all." Jin said teasingly.
"JIN!" Ueda yelled annoyed but the other had already hung up on him.
"What did he say?" Ryo asked amused over Ueda's sudden outburst and grabbed the phone from Ueda.
"He was just being Jin" Ueda muttered and then he realized that Ryo was doing something with his phone. "What are you doing?"
"I just deleted the picture of me." Ryo smirked and handed the phone back to its rightful owner.
One hour into the bus ride, Ryo fell asleep and his head fell to the side and landing on Ueda's shoulder. Ueda who had been reading through some papers he had brought with him to work yesterday but had forgotten all about, got surprised by the sudden weight on his shoulder. He looked up from the papers and smiled when he saw the sleeping being that is Nishikido Ryo. He carefully grabbed his phone out from his bag, it was payback time. The flash from the camera made Ryo stir but he didn't wake up, Ueda had gotten his photo. As Ryo hadn't woken up, Ueda figured he could take some more photos, and so he did of the sleeping Ryo. After the short "photo shot" Ueda went back to his papers and continued with his reading, that was until he felt how something started to drop on to his shoulder. He quickly turned his head and realized that it was spit dripping down on his shoulder from the corner of Ryo's mouth.
"Nishikido wake up" Ueda said pulling his shoulder away from Ryo making the other fall slightly and waking up.
"What did you wake me for?" Ryo grumbled, rubbing the sleep out from his eyes.
"You drooled on me." Ueda explained showing Ryo the spot.
"It's your own fault." Ryo yawned leaning against the window.
"I'm not accusing you for anything, I'm just informing you on why I won't let you sleep on me anymore" Ueda said putting his papers away and taking out the food the nice lady had given them. "It's not like you really can control things like that. You want some?" Ueda offered Ryo one of the rice balls the lady had made them.
"Thanks." Ryo said lazily reaching out for it. "I thought for sure you'd eat all that by yourself."
"I thought so too." Ueda smiled taking a bit of his own rice ball. "But I changed my mind."
"Good for me" Ryo smiled back munching away on his food.
"Yeah, well I'm a nice person, as you pointed out last night." Ueda said without thinking.
"What?" Ryo said looking straight at Ueda, who now realized what he'd said. "I told you, you were nice? When?"
"Uh, well when we were walking home from the beach." Ueda said carefully, contemplating his words. "I was helping you walk since you were really tired and because of that you told me I was nice a few times…" Ueda's cheeks started to slightly change color.
"Oh, well I guess it's true." Ryo said, making Ueda smile slightly. "I mean you are pretty nice when you put your mind to it. Give me another rice ball"
Ryo didn't fall asleep again, and they spent the rest of the bus ride talking, bickering, laughing and eating. In other words they had a great time. They arrived back in Tokyo around 1pm and even though Ueda was happy being back home, he also had some weird feeling of sadness. Why he had no idea.
"Wanna grab that lunch now?" Ryo asked as they walked out from the bus, the question not going unnoticed by Jin, Kame and Yamapi who was waiting for them. Their friends had somehow managed to find out what bus they would be arriving with.
"You haven't gotten enough each other? Already making plans for more time together?" Jin smirked but got hit over the head by his boyfriend.
"Oh, Hi you guys" Ueda said, smiling at his friends before turning to Ryo. "I don't think we have time for lunch now, but some other day. I'll call you, okay?"
"I'll be expecting your call so you better not forget." Ryo said in a mock threat and then turned to Yamapi "What's the rest of NewS schedule for today?"
"A photo shot. But I think you need to wash up before, you look like tramp." Yamapi answered.
"Why, thank you." Ryo snorted, but he knew it was true; after all he hadn't had a real wash since yesterday morning. "Well, I guess I'll see you around guys. And Princess, remember to call me, okay?"
"I will, see ya around" Ueda smiled as Yamapi and Ryo walked away, leaving Ueda alone with Kame and Jin.
"You told me you two weren't a couple." Jin said accusing Ueda for lying. "But what is this about you two planning a lunch date?"
"It's not a date, it's just a friendly lunch between friends" Ueda answered. "So what's on our schedule for the afternoon?"
"Just dance practice." Kame answered.
"I guess we should get going then." Ueda smiled and started to walk off while singing in a low voice " This is the summer time Natsu no mae ni kimi ni aeta kara…"
