Eff it’s hot! 107 my ass. I’ve done 107 before and it wasn’t this bad. Hell, 112 wasn’t this bad. More like 130 bitches. Fuck, I went outside for not 10 minutes yesterday and just standing around I was covered in sweat.  Now, if it were humid out this would mean nothing but being that it’s a “dry heat” that’s fucking hot. Fuck, it’s hot.

I watched Sunshine and 23 last night. 23 struck me as a film that could have been great if it had a different director and no Jim Carrey, but similarly it could have also been a late night straight to tv movie with it's plot.

Sunshine on the other hand: Solid gold. Some acting was a bit cardy, but the film was class.

I quite liked I, Robot but I have to agree it could have been done much better. As far as Asimov goes I much prefered Bicentenial Man. The only films I'm really looking forward to are 30 Days of Night, the Icelandic version of Beowulf (which looks jaw dropping) and Aliens vs Predator 2.

Looked at Fast Food Nation last night and wondered how sch an amazing book was turned into some kind of whack of crap about kid fighting the fast food industry with Avril Laveine. It's like turning the Financial Times into Die Hard.

I need to go see Sunshine. I love Danny Boyle.

30 Days of Night is supposed to be fantastic. Sadly I do want to see I am Legend so that msut say something about taste of what I'm not sure.
